I often wonder if our pillows are usefully and really needed and then God sends me a word.
Cancer is attacking more and more loved ones. My friend, Susan, is at MD Anderson fighting breast cancer. I have two friends battling ovarian cancer, Megan, in Phoenix, AZ and my pastor's wife, Rebecca, in AL. I am believing God has cured all three of them and standing on the promises of Nahum 1:7-9 that "affliction will not return a second time."
While my friend, Dee, was caring for her daughter, Megan in AZ this past week, Megan's home health care nurse ask about our pillows. I am told she was interested and wanted some for her area. I have mailed some to Megan but if you are reading this please contact me and I will mail you more, free of charge. That is what this ministry is all about.
We will keep making them till there is not a need.
To all those that have our pillows, we are praying for you and your loved ones. It is a disease that not only affect the person who has the disease but everyone around them in some way. To anyone needing a pillow, please see the bottom to contact us for a free pillow.
God is still working miracles!!!! He is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow.
We love you all and God bless.
Sew Blessed Pillows are designed to fit under the seatbelt for cancer patients and give them comfort during a difficult time. The pillows are to ease the pressure of the seatbelt where a port, pacemaker, or any medical surgery might cause discomfort. Made lovingly by volunteers, mostly senior citizens, and distributed by God

God Has Done it Again!
I begun this ministry praying and asking God only to supply our needs and standing on that promise. "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil 4:19. My God is Truth and keep His promises.
We were about to run out of velcro and polyfil for our pillows. I prayed. A year ago, the great company of Velcro, Inc. gave us a case. The economy being in such distraught, I did not know if they would be able to give so generously again. I ask to purchase a case. They said no but we will give you a case. I thank them from the realms of my heart and I give the glory to the Master.
I received a unexpected check for $20 and the polyfil was on sale at Hancock's Fabric. I serve an awesome God. We now have enough product to continue making pillows for another long time.
I don't know if anyone reads this or not. But please if you have a loved one that needs a pillow, please contact us. The senior citizens put much love and prayer into them and God such does!

Good Morning!
May is month for endings and new beginnings. Winter has ended, Spring has begun. Summer vacation are ahead. Gardens are growing. Sunday was "Graduation Sunday" at our church. Young people are ending their school years and beginning new lives.
Memorial Day is ahead where we honor and remember those who have gone before us. Remember those who are among us. There are so many suffering now. There are senior citizens who need a hug, a cancer victim who needs prayer, or a child who just needs a moment of your time.
Please give, not money, but of yourself. See who gets rewarded!

Hello
Well, it has been a long time since I have signed on. My life has been turned topsy-turvy since Christmas. I had a wreck in January, totaling my car but I came out with some bruises and minor injuries. The Lord definitely had His hand on me. I have been to Dallas to see the doctor and will return soon to have a new VNS installed. Amazing what technology will do today.
The pillows are going great. Judy Payne is working with a organization and giving them out. We are so thrilled to be helping people during difficult times.
I don't know if anyone is reading this blog. But if you need a pillow from us. Please contact us. They are free of charge. God bless and have a great day.

Merry Christmas
Well, It has been a while since I posted anything. The senior citizens have been busy.
M.D. Anderson sent us the nicest "Thank You" letter for the pillows we sent them; along with the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa for the donations sent to them.
The senior citizens have gotten away from making pillows for a couple of weeks to concentrate on our troops overseas. This week we mailed out over 100 Christmas cards to troops overseas and also Recovering Soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital.
These senior citizens are just amazing and so giving. Please remember them in your prayers this Christmas. Many senior citizens are on limited incomes, living alone for different reasons, families away, or something.
May you all have a blessed Christmas and remember the reason for the SEASON. JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!

Back again
Well, I canceled by blog for awhile because I did not have anything to say. But so much has been happening, I decided to bring it back.
I feel I gave up too soon.
We have given over 500 pillows since March, 2008. I just can't believe it.
The sad part is, the number of cancer patients seems to be growing. I hear of more and more people needing these pillows.
I saw today that we are not the only ones doing this. I am so thankful for that.
It is awesome how God supplies the needs, whatever it is, where ever it is.
I don't know if anyone reads this, but know that if you or anyone you know has cancer, we will ship (free of charge) a pillow to help them.
One man was not wearing his seatbelt because it hurt too much. He was stopped by the Highway Patrol (who was doing his job) and was given a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt. He was so happy to get a pillow. It was going to save him another ticket.
Thanks for listening.
